Jane has written and teaches with a colleague a 20 hour (over 10 weeks) Introduction to Counselling Course. It is aimed at employees using listening skills in the workplace who would benefit from further training to support them in their role and enhance the service they are offering. She is happy to adapt this course to the needs of individual organisations and companies.

The course is also run locally on an annual basis and is ideal for those wanting to explore counselling as a career or vocation, or just wanting to improve their communication and listening skills. She offers shorter courses for Pastoral care workers and bereavement visitors.

Jane can also provide workshops for counsellors on a variety of topics.

Children

Learning to communicate and listen to each other is an important life skill, and one which children benefit from learning at an early age. Jane has developed a range of workshops which can stand alone or be taught during several PSRE lessons at school. Short DVD's, comics, games, drama and role play, collaborative projects, and stickers for each task mastered help the children to learn in a fun and stimulating environment.
